“A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down.” – Arnold H. Glasow
Hey fam!! I hope your October has been great thus far! Mine has been very busy! But I’m grateful that I have something productive to keep me busy! There’s something else I’m grateful for…True friends.
Even though the definition of a true friend varies from one individual to the next, I believe one universal attribute of a true friend is selflessness! A true friend is willing to go the extra mile for you; to place your affairs before theirs; to make tremendous sacrifices for you. It’s a display of love; one that will never be forgotten.
A few minutes ago, I watched a video a friend of mine posted on facebook that I believe sums this all up. I was so touched by it, and couldn’t resist the urge to share it with you – my seeds in words fam! Please learn all you can from it, and sincerely ask yourself this question: Am I really a true friend? ….If a dog can do it, we all certainly can!
As an introductory post, I decided to embed a video that I’ve really gotten to like so far. One of my personal bests from Anthony (Tony) Robbins; a motivational speaker that I hold dear because a lot of his material has guided and influenced me in phenomenal ways. Here we go:
Hey fam! If you feel your environment is making it difficult for you to thrive and become your best, Bruce and I have got the perfect solution for you! You see, sometimes it’s advisable to play the “Sucker” for a short period of time; if that’s what it’d take to get you where you want to go.
I’m not advocating to stoop low and stay low… You can choose to use your current job – where you have to suck up to an exasperating boss – to polish yourself up, and then go out to look for a better one. You can choose to put in all you have into that project, even though others are not working as hard. Realize that the extra research and work you’re doing is making you better and more valuable. Wherever you find yourself, in whatever you do, put in your best, no matter how uncomfortable it may be!
Here’s a little advice from Bruce Lee – don’t need to introduce him to anybody! It’s his recipe for success! Have fun!
Hey fam! Hope you’ve been having a great week! I’ve been so busy in the past few days. I can’t remember the last time I slept before 3am! Yes, it’s been that crazy. But I’m glad everything’s been working out great. I’ve never stopped thinking about seeds in words. I love your devotion to this site.
Here’s a video I stumbled upon. It’s by Les Brown – a very successful entrepreneur and one of the most renowned motivational speakers alive! Please endeavor to draw all you can from it! Enjoy!
Hey guys! I was listening to this while doing my chores today – I was cooking (Believe it or not, I’m good at it). I couldn’t wait to share it with you guys! It’s from one of my most profound mentors – Jim Rohn.
If you can listen to the whole audio, that would be great! But if you can’t then, please jump to 3:27. Have fun!
